Sometimes life can really take the fun out of... well, life. I know every single one of use enjoys what we do. We love it to our very core. Otherwise, why would we be doing it, right? But there is so much frustration when you land an audition, get a call back, score a role, finish filming a scene or even finish recording a song. You are so extremely proud of it and excited about it. Of course, this makes you want to scream to the heavens..or the first person you see on the street, just to tell SOME ONE! But noooo thanks to the unwritten (or sometimes written) gag order you are pretty much forced to keep quiet. So here you sit, a bouncy ball of joy, excitement, pride and anxiety. AND YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING. Oh, rip my heart out!!! haha.
Yes, that was my over dramatic way of saying I have a few things in the works. But I still can't spill the beans. (which I've said before but doesn't make it any less annoying) I start work in February and I'm so giddy for that. In the meantime, I've been taking some classes, mainly for writing and theater to help with my career. They've been going quickly, and I'm still doing well in school. I feel like a big nerd for liking school. But hey! Embrace your weird!! It's the key to happiness.
Other than that I've been having some withdrawals of time spent with a certain person. I feel so impatient in between the times I get to see him because the time spent with him is only a few days but the time spent apart is much longer. I'll get to see him again this week and he really can't get here fast enough. Must be patient...
So this makes me realize I'm either (1) just too impatient or (2) I'm not social enough and I'm feeling like an infatuated teenie bopper. Either way, it's telling me that I need to get out and talk to the beautiful people here.
